The telephone does not require its own base station as it is a universal handset. It must be connected to a DECT-capable base station or directly to a router with an integrated DECT base, such as a Fritzbox. You can therefore register the new phone directly on the DECT side socket of your Fritzbox without needing an additional base station. The connection is made via DECT, similar to your previous Gigaset phones on the Gigaset Go Box 100.
