Question about Sony LinkBuds
Do the Sony LinkBuds WFL900 really have ANC as stated in the product specifications? The design with the hole makes me doubt it.

No, only the Linkbuds S have ANC.
According to the description, the Sony LinkBuds have ANC when I need them for phone calls/talking. Then they seem to filter out the ambient noise. My conversation partners understand me without any problems.
However, the ANC is not noticeable when listening. I only hear the ambient noise a little quieter.

the Sony LinkBuds (WF-L900) do not have Active Noise Cancelling (ANC). Their open ring design deliberately lets ambient noise through, so ANC would not be effective. For ANC, you should consider models like the Sony WF-1000XM4 or Linkbuds S.
