Yes, the headphones have a microphone, but the quality of the phone call is very poor. The microphone in the headphones does not register the spoken word well. My experience is that the person I am talking to has a lot of trouble understanding me. I have therefore given up using the headphones and prefer to use the telephone for a short time.
