Question about Elgato Cam Link 4K
Does anyone else have problems with the cam always freezing after a certain time or not even being recognised when starting OBS?

I myself use it on two different cameras and software (OBS, XSplit Broadcast & VCam) without any problems.
At the moment I would guess that your virus/malware protection programme is interfering. Try adding OBS (depending on the software, the EXE or the entire folder is sufficient) to the exception list.
