Does anyone have a comparison with a professional washing machine, e.g. the "Vinyl Cleaner Ultrasonic" from the German manufacturer Audio Desk Systeme Gläss in D 89551 Königsbronn at five (from the manufacturer) to six (from the Swiss importer) times the price?

The difference is quite simple:

The VC-S2 works according to the suction principle, in which the "dirt" is sucked out of the grooves with the help of the cleaning concentrate. With the AudioDesk Glass, the dirt is dissolved by means of ultrasound in a water bath.

The VC-S2 costs relatively little, but the result is very comparable. Only if you really use a high-end turntable and cartridge to play the record will you hear a difference between the two cleaning variants.

The Audiodesk Gläss cleans and dries the records independently and is therefore a little slower, but does the job almost fully automatically. With the VC-S2, cleaning requires a little more effort, as both sides have to be cleaned and vacuumed individually.

So the focus is mainly on convenience. The result of both principles is very close to each other and more a topic of dispute among enthusiasts than a really audible difference in a blind test.
