Does anyone know if the ANC is active when the audio cable is connected (i.e. in passive mode)? This is not the case with the XQISIT OE400 ANC, so it cannot be used in an aeroplane.

You can also activate and deactivate the ANC at the touch of a button when the audio cable is connected. In the aircraft, the headphones must not be used during take-off and landing. That's what I was told on my last flight.
