Does it make more sense to use this screen with Displayport 1.4 or with HDMI 2.1, as I saw that DP1.4 only allows 4k/120Hz. (I want 4k/240hz)

I think you've already answered your own question.
If DP 1.4 only allows 120Hz at 4K and you want 240Hz, how does DP 1.4 come into question?
