does it still work on linux? or have some issue like someone mention in review with windows?

I have been using this monitor since March 2016 on Linux. I use AMD GPUs, i.e. HD 7970, and AMD Fury X. Never experienced any issues of any kind.

Yeah it should work just fine. Your Linux should be able to run the Resolution and since the Video Signal is Universal it should not be a problem anyway.
