Does that mean I can insert Insta or Pocket negative and transfer the photo to the PC?

You can load 35mm negatives, or slides (transparencies), and then transfer them to the PC where you can post-process the image.
If you have strips of negatives, you can put them in the supplied negative holder, but you have to change the position manually.
