Does the clock display a message when mail arrives on the iPhone (I use Spark as my mail client)?

I assume this works the same on iOs as on Android. In the watch app, you can determine which apps should display messages on your watch. As long as Spark generates a push message when a new mail is received, it will also be displayed on your watch.
