Does the device also work with batteries? Or what is the flap on the back for?

Helpful answer

No batteries, only the battery supplied with the radio. If necessary, you can buy a replacement battery from Galaxus.

A rechargeable battery is included in the delivery. This enables cordless use. I can't say how long it will last. So far, the radio has worked on battery power for over 4 hours at a time.

Behind the flap is a lithium-ion battery type BL-5C. It is charged in the radio via a normal USB power supply unit (5V) and can be replaced if defective.
