Does this also work with an Intel® NUC kit NUC7i3BNK where Ubuntu is installed ?
The specifications of the NUC explicitly state USB-C (DP1.2), i.e. the USB-C can output a DP video signal:

According to the internet, the USB-C DP-Alternate Mode was already integrated into Linux in 2018. Bug fixes were still available in kernel 5.10.
