Question about Pioneer SPH-DA120 AppRadio
Does this car radio work with the Android Auto App and Galaxy S8 ?
Had bought this device when I still had an iPhone but now have an Android Samsung S7.
Functionality with Android is limited to:
-telephoning only via BT.
-Tel.list on radio.
-Music only via BT
-Charge mobile phone via USB
Radio detects mobile phone via BT automatically on start-up.
I would not recommend this, even for iOS only conditionally.
Unless you appreciate an inexpensive large-screen radio for ease of use and a reversing camera.

No, unfortunately the SPH-DA120 only supports Apple CarPlay, which is great!
For Android, there is actually only the option of listening to music via USB, which any other Bluetooth-enabled radio can also do. There is also the AppRadioMode, but in my opinion it is useless... If you really want to use your mobile phone comfortably, I recommend a radio that supports Android Auto properly.
