Does this device also work via usb 2.0 with a macbook pro mid 2013? I would need to attach a monitor to control my music recording programme via it.

The manufacturer writes on the website (en.j5create.com/products/juh450) that this should be possible (even with USB1.1). Attention, whether this product works well also depends on the performance of your computer.

Unfortunately, this product does not work at all on my Windows computer, regardless of the USB port!
