Question about Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM (S), Nikon F
Does this lens make sense on the Nikon D700, or is the D700 and this lens compatible?

The compatibility would be given.
I have a Nikon D750 and shoot with converter from Sigma and the 150-600.
It would be best to define the purpose, I need the combination exclusively for aircraft. And there the shots with the zoom are perfect, good price / performance ratio.
I think it is a possibility to use it on the D700, and to change later to a newer camera from Nikon, the compatibility ( F-mount ) is assured.

It's a pleasure to use on a D700 and works without any problems. I've taken thousands of pictures with it on various trips. Never had the slightest problem with it.
