The microphone fits the Canon D1300. It can be attached to the hot shoe and is stabilised with a twist lock. To connect it you can use the mic input on your camera.

Controlie how big is the audio output of your camera, if it is 3,5 mm then it fits. Otherwise you have 2 options, either order an adapter connector separately or you have the right to return it. Otherwise the audio is great. Hope I could help you.
