Unfortunately, no - the Galaxy Tab S2 has a high-resolution, but normal display. The display of the Tab S3 builds up a special electric field above the glass for the stylus, with which the stylus (the battery-free electronics inside) interacts.
It is comparable to the Samsung phones Galaxy S8 (=Tab S2) and Galaxy Note8 (=Tab S3); the pen would also work on the Note8, but not on the S8.
All newer Samsung models with a stylus work according to the same principle. I.e. that such a pen also works with all these models

I only use it with the S3. Unfortunately, I can't answer that. Greetings
