Does this screen have an integrated USB hub, i.e. can the mouse dongle be attached directly to the screen?

Yes it has. However, it is connected via USB-C. The screen also uses this as a display input. If you only want to operate via DisplayPort or HDMI, it's a bit stupid.
Picture also via USB-C and everything is fine.
