Question about HP Pro 400 Mini G9

Good day! I've been using the Pro 400 Mini G9 for a few days now; normal CPU load 10-15%. The device gets incredibly hot; I stand it on end. Due to the heat, the fan is constantly running, often presumably at the highest level. The noise is therefore usually very loud and annoying (contrary to the comments in the reviews). Do I need to worry about the heat development in the long term? Does the "Mini" have a temperature sensor that would warn and switch off automatically? Would the tower version - if you have space - be the better option? Thank you very much!

Helpful answer

Hello!
I've been using the Pro 400 Mini G9 regularly for six months and to be honest I didn't even realise it had a fan, it works completely silently. It sits horizontally on my desk, under the monitor. If you really do have the same device, try out what happens when you place it horizontally and well ventilated. If it still makes noise then, it is a case for the guarantee, if not, you should think about the positioning, constant overheating is certainly not good for the device.
Kind regards!
