Good evening, I do 80% photo editing and 20% gaming. Is this screen well suited to these uses or would another reference be better? Is this screen G-SYNC compatible? I can't be sure. Thank you very much.

I would recommend a different monitor for photo editing.
LG Ultrafine 5K or Apple Studio Display

Good evening
From my point of view (no gamer....) it works very well. Just need to upgrade with a better cable for photo editing. I can't answer the G-SYNC question. Ke Schimmer. Sorry!
Kind regards

The ASUS has various monitor connections!
I also had a hard time choosing and (as a Mac user) simply decided in favour of the "DisplayPort" connection, because that's supposed to be the fastest and is therefore also the choice of gamers

ASUS provides technical information here:
http://www.asus.com/ch-de...
You can also download the "Data sheet" there

I myself found it difficult to adjust the monitor at first, but I got used to it and today, after a year, I am very happy with my "cheap" solution
There would still be the option of getting more out of it with "Spider X", but I didn't bother!
