Good evening, this will be my first portable console, so I'd like to know if games played online have to be via an internet connection or if the console already provides basic WIFI please?

I'm not sure if I've understood the question correctly. Yes, the console has an integrated WiFi modem and you can use it to connect to the internet. You can activate flight mode while playing to save battery life. Logically, this does not work for online-only games. I hope I was able to help.
