Question about JBL Quantum Duo
Has the connectivity problem been fixed? I have constant connectivity problems and cannot upgrade the firmware because the PC with driver does not recognise the speakers. I have to reconnect the speakers every day because the speakers either don't give out sound or the sound gets distorted over time. I would buy the speakers again when the problem is finally solved.
The current firmware is version 46, which was already installed in my case. You can check which version is installed.
How to do this is described in the "JBL Quantum Duo Software upgrade instruction".
However, I also had the problem that the boxes always switched off after 10 - 15 minutes. I tried all the tips from JBL and from the forums. One tip was that it was the cable. I then bought a new cable. InLine Micro-USB 2.0 (3 m)
What is noticeable is that it is thicker than the original. Unfortunately, the boxes still switch off.
The only solution that works for me is to deactivate the automatic switch-off. Fortunately, this is possible. :)

Without the firmware update you won't get rid of the problems. I had to try the update from 3 different computers until it finally worked by chance. If you buy the boxes new, you have no guarantee that they have the latest version installed.
