Question about Garmin Forerunner 245

Has the new version of the HR optical sensor been improved with this watch (compared to the FR235)? With the FR235, the pulse often dropped to about 80 beats and stayed there (the pulse was more like 130 beats per minute). This error occurred mainly during cycling (less frequently, but also during running training). It looked more like a stand-by mode than an error... Since I would also like to wear the watch in the gym, especially during endurance training on the bike, this would still be relevant. I have read DCrainmakers review, but hope to read more opinions. Thank you very much!

I regret that Garmin no longer has heart rate belt solutions in its range, precisely because of this. I notice that jumps in heart rate are readily displayed on the first kilometre, especially a number that is too high. This coincides with my internet experience. Later it seems to be reasonably accurate.

What I just noticed these days, and need to verify further: I see a clearly too high HR for the effort. I therefore tighten the wristband and the HR is reduced to a plausible number.
