Hello all I just got the headset today. I plugged it in, but the microphone does not work. It (red plug) is plugged into "Mic". The audio cable (green) is in "L-Out". Audio works perfectly. Only the microphone does not pick up any sound. Other options to plug in are L-In, SS-Out, CS-Out, RS-Out. Does anyone know what I have to do. I have also gone through various audio and sound settings, but nothing has helped yet. Board: MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX (AM4, AMD B450, ATX) Thanks in advance for the help

If not already the case, I would try plugging in the headset with the microphone in the down position. When it is folded up, it is physically deactivated and when you plug it in like this, some devices think there is nothing connected and do not recognise the microphone even if you fold it down later. At least that was the case with my laptop.

I have plugged the headset into AUX. In the sound settings, I selected Loudspeaker (Soundblaster Recon3Di). After that it worked. I also had difficulties at first. I have several AUXs, front and rear on the PC. However, only the rear ones work, for whatever reason....
But I can't recommend the headset. I bought it for 200 CHF and am very disappointed. You are definitely better off with a HyperX!
