Hello everyone, I have already bought 2 monitors and always have the same error in the backlight and am wondering whether an entire product series is defective or whether these are a few isolated cases. The easiest way to replicate this is via a test image as follows. 1. activate HDR in Windows 2. open the "80% Black" test image at https://www.fullscreen.one 3. move the mouse pointer to the left Does a horizontal, slightly darker strip appear on the left-hand side of the screen (it disappears depending on how the mouse pointer is moved)? Thank you very much.

Helpful answer

Probably doesn't help much: But I experience the same phenomenon.

This sounds like it's just expected behavior due to the 16 backlight zones. When HDR is turned on, if you're displaying a black screen but have your mouse pointer, the whole strip where the backlight zone is will turn on, making a brighter zone wherever the small bright object is.
