Hello, how do I achieve the 5120 x 1440 pixels via an HDMI connection? Does this work at all with HDMI 2.0?

Yes, HDMI 2.0 is capable of transmitting 5120 x 1440@60Hz. The monitor can therefore be operated via Displayport as well as via HDMI. See here:
