Hello. I am interested in the LG16MR70. I have a MS Surface Por 8 laptop and I have read that the laptop requires a special connection "However, other notebooks can also be paired with the LG +view 16MR70. However, for the monitor to display an image, the laptop's USB-C port must support DisplayPort alternative mode (DP Alt Mode)." Will my MS Surface work with this portable monitor? Many thanks

Good morning
I just bought the LG16MR70 last week and also own an MS Surface Pro 8. The functionality is there. Plug and play. The resolution can be adjusted as normal in the display settings. I'm very satisfied so far and the monitor's resolution, black levels etc. are impressive.
