Hello, I am very happy with the Video Mic. I would also like to connect it directly to the computer, but that doesn't work. What kind of adapter do I need for this? Thank you very much for the help.

I use the RØDE SC4 TRS to TRRS adapter, which is actually designed for mobile phones. Works on my MacBook as well as on my HP notebook. You can test it with the iPhone cable headphones (with mic). If it works with that, it will also work with the adapter.

Do you have a Mac? With my MBP 2020, an audio split cable must be used, otherwise the Mac does not recognise the microphone as such.

If you are using a PC, I cannot help you.
