Hello, I have a kit : Nikon D5300 18 - 55 mm, 24.78 Mpx, APS-C / DX I'm going on safari and I'd like to know if this lens is compatible with my camera? Hello, yes that is compatible. I would clearly recommend the 18-300 (or even the 16-400 from Tamron), with the 70-300 you are not flexible enough, as 70mm is already very restrictive at close distances.
