Hello, I have just received this camera "Ubiquiti UniFi Video G3-FLEX camera, but I can't use it yet because I probably don't have the accessories. I need it indoors, simply set up on a piece of furniture. Can someone please tell me what I need as minimum accessories to make this camera work and at best give an alarm via my mobile phone (or email etc.), e.g. in case of burglary? The idea is to use this camera as an indoor surveillance camera, but I don't want to invest too much money in it. Many thanks in advance for an answer and kind regards. Frank

We have them in a whole Unifi environment with gateway, etc.
If you connect it to a PoE switch, this also supplies the camera with power via the network cable.
In addition, you will certainly need a controller. In other words, the video recorder: https://www.ui.com/unifi-vide...
You can get it here for 380 Fr., but it's really easy to install.
Ubiquiti Unifi UVC-NVR Network Recorder (Network Camera Accessories)
If you then make a Unifi login, you can log in to the app and that's it!

And if you already have a NAS, e.g. from Synology (preferably with Intel processor), then you can install the controller on the NAS (e.g. with Docker); this is then no additional cost. In my opinion, the Ubiquiti UniFi Video G3-FLEX camera is not suitable for a (very simple) installation; I would recommend Netatmo or Blink (cloud already pre-installed, images/video on mobile).
