Hello I would like to connect a record player, which is possible. Can I record or save the music signal as an MP3 while playing the record?

Hello The output of the record player is cinch, the input on the laptop is USB. There are normal adapter cables for this. Ok. But are there special adapters so that the music signal remains as high quality as possible and does not end up in "digital music mush"?...MFG

Hello, this should work. I have a Sony PS-HX500 record player. The operating instructions describe how to make recordings.

Theoretically, yes. You could connect an audio output to a laptop or computer and record the signal with an appropriate recording programme.
