Hello, I would like to connect my MacBook Pro, my HP Elitebook and my PS4 to the monitor and use only one mouse and keyboard for all 3 devices. Am I correct in assuming that I can achieve this with this display and the integrated KVM switch? In other words, connect the Macbook via usb-c (image/sound/peripherals), the HP Elitebook via HDMI (image/sound) and USB uplink (peripherals), and the PS4 also with HDMI (image/sound) and the second USB uplink? Will my planned project work with this monitor or would another model be better suited?

Not sure if you can use three straight. Not 100% sure, but I think you can only connect two devices and use KVM switch. You can decide separately what you want to change. Video only (DP,HDMI) and/or USB
