Hello, I would like to know: Is it possible to use it like a keyboard and play it without a computer, for example by connecting it directly to a monitor via the XLR, AUX or audio jack and just use it as a "normal piano"? Thanks in advance!

Helpful answer
This unit is a MIDI controller, but it does not produce any sounds itself. You connect it to the computer or to a MIDI-capable sound generator. The Arturia KeyLab comes with software that can then take over the sound generation. For this, however, you need the computer.

If you want to know whether a device can produce sounds itself, it is best to look for an indication of how many there are.
Here, for example, there are 600.
Casio LK-280 (Grey)
However, you may be better served if you can get hold of such a device in a showroom.

Please inform yourself first about very basic terms like MIDI and MIDI controller before you ask such a general basic question about a specific product. Then you will understand why this cannot (and should not) work with the Keylab or any other MIDI controller, because it is not the concept of a MIDI controller.
