When products are revised and new versions of the same product type are released, manufacturers often use the same manufacturer number and, as a rule, the same global trade item number (GTIN) as the predecessor. The latter is used for the electronic identification of products; it is used to record our items in our goods-in department and also controls dispatch.

As our warehouse is largely automated and we aim to process orders and deliveries as quickly as possible, we are unfortunately unable to control which version is ultimately dispatched.
