Hello, thank you very much for your answers about this product. I am thinking of getting 2 HomePods like this as stereo speakers in my living room. But I am not sure if they are big enough. My living room has a room height of 2.4m and a floor space of 11x6m. Previously I had 2 pcs. UE Hyperboom, which provided full sound in the room, but are not AirPlay-capable, hence the change. I would also have a B&O Beosound 1 with AirPlay, which could be supplemented with another one for the pay ring. Hmm, 2 HomePods or 2 Beosound 1? Thank you very much for your feedback.
Thank you very much. Just for my understanding: You reduce the bass on the HomePod because it's too bass-heavy, but you still have an external sub with the two HomePods?
Question: Why do you take a sub with the Belkin Connect and not 2x HP Mini for the back and then you have the large Homepods 2 in the front? I thought the Homepods had to be placed "free-standing" for good surround sound? They sound great to me but I would also like to have speakers in the back... Unfortunately, you can only combine 2 devices into a stereo pair and not, for example, pair several Homepods like Sony does.... Which speakers have you connected to the extension?
Hello. 2 HomePods 2 are in use as a stereo pair in my living room. Since I use them invisibly in a sideboard behind an acoustic fabric cover, they were too bass-heavy for my taste. The perfect solution for me was to operate the Homepods with the "reduce bass" function and a separate subwoofer via "Belkin Soundform Connect AirPlay". AppleTV, Netflix, DisneyPlus, Apple Music etc. now all run automatically via HomeKit (Siri) via this configuration. In our home with very good sound quality (but my living room is smaller approx. 4x6 m). You pay at least the same for a good soundbar. I can't say whether the HomePods are on a par with the B&O or UEs, but I won't be giving my installation away any time soon ;-)
