Hello together I have been given the honourable task of taking over the technical side of a large amateur theatre. With lighting etc. As well as music, I am well provided for and up to speed. Ideally, I now need a physical device with which I can record sounds simply and easily. For example, a doorbell, an incoming telephone call, birdsong, etc.. I imagined doing this with a Launchpad from Novation, for example, and then came across the Elgato Stream Deck. Would the Stream Deck be a better option? Would it be possible to play sound files that I will then load at the touch of a button using the software supplied? Do I need additional software here? What would you recommend?
