Question about Marantz PM6007

Hello together I have been researching for a long time and have no overview of the vast amount of information regarding watt RMS and speaker watt specifications. I would like to have this Marantz amplifier and some decent bookshelf speakers. How many watts can speakers have without clipping with a 60 watt amplifier?

Power Outputs: 45 Watts RMS (8 Ohms) / 60 Watts RMS (4 Ohms).
If it's just for 2 bookshelf speakers, there's nothing to worry about. You just need to check that you have the right resistor for the speakers and check whether the speaker manufacturer gives a recommended power rating. The Bowers & Wilkins 606 S2 work very well for me. For other suggestions: https://www.paarc.org/best-speak....

Regardless of the speaker, check what the manufacturer recommends as amplifier power. Clipping occurs with all loudspeakers if the volume is turned up too high. In other words, if the amplifier has to deliver too much because it is turned up too loud, it can no longer deliver and clipping occurs. You can wreck very large but also very small amplifiers and vice versa. It's the level that makes the difference. For example, I have the Audiophysics Avantera (Occasion) on the amplifier and it makes really good music, it sounds very good.

Always 1 to 2 is the golden rule, i.e. ideally to your 60 watt amplifier at least 120 watt loudspeakers, greetings.
