Hello together I keep wavering between this lens and the Nikon AF-P NIKKOR 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6E ED VR for CHF 625. I am not quite clear on the difference, can anyone tell me what the main difference is between these two teles? I have a Nikon D7500. Thank you very much!
The two lenses differ in the autofocus drive. For my Nikon D7000 I had to buy the AF-P NIKKOR 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6E ED VR. Nikon support can reliably tell you which one fits the D7500.

This lens is optimised for DX cameras (half format). I had very good experiences with it on a safari.
If you're sure you don't want to go full frame anytime soon, you can go for the cheaper one. It's also about 200 grams lighter. The full-frame lens probably has slightly better light sensitivity at full zoom.
For me, the DX was the right choice. If I ever switch to full-frame, it will probably be a mirrorless, and then there will be other lenses.
As far as I understand it, it looks like this: The other lens is built for full-frame cameras. This lens is built specifically for the non-full-frame cameras (like the D7500).
I also bought this version (and not the one for full-frame cameras) for my D7500.
