Question about i-tec Nano Dock

Hello together I ordered the adapter because I want to charge my Mac Book Air 2020 notebook with 2 x USBC at the same time and use it with 2 external Apple displays at the same time. Both screens on USBC work perfectly, but my MAC Book Air is then no longer charged. Unfortunately, the screen connected via the i-tec is no longer recognised and remains black. Should this not be possible with this adapter? THANKS

Are you trying to connect your display to the docking station via the USB-C port? This does NOT support display mode. You are also connecting the displays via the Thunderbolt 3 protocol, which this dock does not support. You need a Thunderbolt 3 dock that can daisy-chain (passes Thunderbolt through a port). You can use the following, for example: i-tec Thunderbolt 3 Dual 4K Dock 60W (HDMI, 60W, Thunderbolt, USB A) (In some cases, a German power cable may be attached, in which case simply write to Digitec Support and one will be sent to you). As you can see, such docking stations are considerably more expensive. But pretty much the cheapest reasonable one I found on Digitec :/ If you're looking for one yourself, make sure it has a Thunderbolt 3 input and a Thunderbolt 3 output + power input. The linked docking station also only charges with 60 watts for a Macbook Air, but it's more critical for a MacBook Pro.
