Hello I bought this monitor and a Mac Mini M1. I have connected the Mac Mini via USB-C to the monitor with the following cable: https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/belkin-thunderbolt-3-cable-40-gbps-5a-2m-usb-kabel-10147977 Unfortunately, I can't get a signal through it. I don't know what else I could try. I'm currently using the monitor via HDMI, but I don't have the full 5k resolution, which is quite hard on the eyes. I would appreciate any tips.

Helpful answer

Have you tried the included USB-C cable? I connected my MacBook Air M1 with it and had no problems.

I have the display on a Macbook Pro 2018 with USB-C - software version Big Sur. Initially, I tried it with a CHF60 Thunderbolt 3 cable from Belkin - it didn't work. However, with a USB C cable from Mio Star (Migros, USB 3.1 Gen.2) everything works perfectly, including the camera at full resolution (5120 x 1440).

Hello @Renatomitra
Many thanks for your answer. Then I am already reassured that it should basically work with Mac Mini M1 or MacBook Air M1.
By "included USB-C cable" do you mean the one that looks like a normal USB port on one side and USB-C on the other?
If so, where on the monitor did you plug it in? Monitor front: first from the left or the second from the left?
Does it matter which USB-C you plug the cable into on your Mac Book Air?
The resolution is now 5120x1440?

Best regards
Philippe
