Question about Garmin Vivoactive 4S

Hello I recently bought the Garmin 4S. I would actually be quite satisfied. Unfortunately, it has a lot of dropouts: heart rate is not measured in some cases. Only half of the distance run is displayed. Do I just have to put up with this or is the watch broken? The watch was delivered to me in a small box that was not padded inside a large box. Is it always delivered like this or is it now defective? Kind regards

Hello! Also have a new S4, previously 2 years S3. I would never accept unrecorded distance in my life! That's what you have the watch for. I'm about to run a virtual race over 5km and I'm afraid after your message that the recording might not work ;-). My S4 was packed in exactly the same way. Heart rate is displayed correctly in GarminConnect. Have fun
