with the pimax crystal you no longer need base stations - the 4 built-in cameras do a very good job - the tracking is excellent - you don't need any additional equipment - the only small fault with this system is the amount of light, explanation: if a room is poorly lit, (in the evening for example) in this case you have to use the pimax with the lights on in the room - you don't have this problem with the stations. but in reality it's not a real problem. mine works perfectly, a single light is enough. (i use my pimax helmet for flight simulation..... and it's just wonderful)

Don’t know why anyone would need it the tracking is good without base stations.
