Question about RØDE Wireless GO
Hi Community, I have been trying to connect my brand new Wireless Go receiver to the laptop. I bought the SC7 cable recommended everywhere (including here). Plugged the TRRS end into a Thinkpad, or a Macbook Air - neither device recognises it. (RX switched on, of course :-) I looked in the audio settings of the laptop/Macbook - nothing, and accordingly the whole kit is not available for a zoom session. The laptop & Macbook are only a few years old, both with combo audio input (not separate mic and earpiece). (TX and RX 'see' each other, probably work fine otherwise). Any tips out there for a successful laptop connection?!
All the adapters can take away the joy of Rode. But I can't say where the problem is. On the off chance: Maybe it still needs the SC3 between the mic and the Rode mobile transmitter? That was the problem for me. RØDE SC3 TRRS to TRS Adapter
Shouldn't be a problem with the newer Rode Funkmic.
Have only worked with it on iPad and iPhone so far...there it works flawlessly and with very good results. I'll report back when I've tried it with Macbook pro...
