Hi. I have 2 Dell monitors connected to the docking station via DisplayPort and wanted to connect my Medion erazer X15809 via USB-C 3.1. The monitors are not recognised (correctly connected and on). But the external keyboard/mouse is (also on the dock). What could be the reason for this? Thanks for an answer.

Hello,

I apologise for the inconvenience.

For the video outputs to work, the laptop's USB-C port must support either the alternative USB-C DisplayPort mode or Thunderbolt3 (native video transfer via USB-C).
I check the manual for your laptop and they don't mention support for either of these modes. So unfortunately it looks like the laptop does not meet the requirements.

If you were looking for CADUAL4KDOCK, this docking station would be the best for you - but it is based on DisplayLink technology and these docking stations are mainly for office work.

If you have any further questions, please contact our technical support: support@itecproduct.com

Kind regards

Hello

I have a similar setup with an Asus TFT on the HDMI and a 4m USB 3.1 cable connection between the RTX2070 and the hub. After a lot of TnE, it now usually works well to transmit the signal. I have learned ...

Not every USB 3.1 cable is suitable for video.
Lindy extender cable doesn't work, Belkin monitor cable (2m) works fine.
It doesn't work on the USBc of the Gigabyte Z390 MB, but works on the USBc of the RTX.
