Hi, I'm looking for a travel lens, but I'm now wavering between the Sigma 18-200mm and the Nikon one. I have already looked at a few test reports on the internet and am leaning more towards the Sigma. (Apparently the image quality is better with the Sigma) Can anyone help me? I have a Nikon D5600 Thanks in advance :)

Hello David
If I may give you a tip, don't buy a lens that has as large a focal length as possible. I would rather go for one with less focal length but a continuous aperture.
I can only recommend Sigma lenses! You won't go wrong!

What I would suggest for a subject would be for example: Sigma 24-105mm, f/4 DG OS HSM ART Nikon
24-105mm with aperture 4 is ideal for an always on. But since you have an APSC camera, it would be a 36-170mm, so it would be more towards and not wide angle.

I could also recommend this lens as it has an aperture of 2.8 at 17mm and it is suitable for APS-C. Sigma 17-70mm F/2.8-4.0 DC OS HSM Macro C Nikon
I myself had the Nikon Pondon which I highly recommend! Nikon AF-S VR DX Nikkor 16-80mm f/2.8-4 E ED

With these 2.8 lenses you can also shoot very well at night as well as stars which works very well with an aperture of 2.8.

Personally, I would go for one of the last two with an aperture of 2.8-4.
