The MSI PRO MP161DE comes with two cables:
1 x USB-C cable -- USB-C can transmit power AND video
1 x HDMI cable -- Mini HDMI which only transmits the video signal. The USB-C cable must then be connected to a charger (not supplied) to power the display.
The display's inputs and outputs are :
2 x USB-C
1 x HDMI mini

if you connect the usb-c cable, you don't need another power source: power and signal come through the same cable.

It has a USB C port for the power supply.
