How can I connect this microphone to my HP PC so that the sound works without reverberation? In the meantime I have bought a TRS to TRRS adapter. It is now at least audible, but the sound still reverberates during Zoom meetings. I have already looked for solutions on YouTube/ChatGPT/Google. My colleague also has the same effect on her HP. I am very grateful for any helpful input - I will now continue to study the evaluation section.
Hello and thank you for your question.
I tried this microphone with the Zoom software, but on a MacBook Pro with a mini sound card with TRS jack input and USB-C output, and I didn't encounter any particular problems.
As I'm not familiar with the Windows operating system, I'll try looking at the sound settings in the Zoom application and also see if there's a parameter to tweak under "the sound".I'm sorry I don't have anything better to go on.
I'm sorry I can't offer you a better solution.
Sincerely
This may be due to acoustic feedback. Can you hear the other participants via loudspeakers? If so, try using headphones. You can also turn down the volume of the speakers for testing purposes or move away from the speakers.
Hi, reverberation also depends a lot on the surroundings. Check whether there is less reverberation in another room or whether curtains or furniture can reduce the reverberation. A windscreen over the microphone may also help, here is a selection: https://www.digitec.ch/de.... Perhaps there is also a setting on your HP that reduces the brightness? I hope these tips will help you in your search for a solution.
