How did you get it to work? I followed all the instructions on the CD, downloaded the latest drivers from the Epson website, etc. All with the same result. All with the same result: scanner flashes orange, but is displayed on the computer. When I try to open a scanner programme, e425-b301 appears. Does anyone have any tips for me? I'm at my wit's end
Thank you for your answers. It was not due to the transport fuse. External drivers didn't help either. Epson customer service was not helpful either. On the contrary 😂. The thing went back.

If it doesn't work with the latest drivers, I don't know what to do... unfortunately.
It's been a while since I've had it.... perhaps it still has a transport lock? It ran smoothly for me.
