this is a midikeyboard not a synthesizer. the midikeybaord alone does not make any tones. to play tones you need a program like reason cubase with a piano or synthesizer or simply a freeware synthesizer as vst from the internet after that you can select the akai as midi signal and then the synth plays the tones. just in case that was not clear.
