I have this device since a few month, and although I have a medium sized cd collection ( about 500 ) I have ripped them all, ( maybe your solution ? )

I tried extra today and to answer your question, with about 10 cd's I burned one myself.

It is almost inaudible, you only hear the music, no mechanical or other noises. Really good.

The best thing about this device is its ability to be networked, Bluetooth, wifi.
Just download an app from Samsung (in Android for me) and you can control everything from this device via app, Cd, usb, radio, DAB+ volume sound, etc.

No matter from android app, or only the music via Bluetooth, from mobile phone, tablet, or laptop with Windows 10.

Of course, you can also connect several panosanic devices throughout the house, but that's not my case.

Great device, good sound.
